# Internal development notes

This directory holds verbose planning, audit, benchmark, and agent-oriented
notes that are useful while developing fold but should not be part of the
public-facing documentation surface.

Public docs should normally link here only when the extra implementation detail
is useful to contributors. User-facing material belongs in `docs/USAGE.md`,
`docs/BUILDING.md`, `docs/positioning.md`, or the top-level README/BUILD files.
